Conveniently located just off of the Highway 1, this Tudor-style mansion situation upon Deer Lake Park has been converted into a fine dining establishment. Casual yet elegant, this heritage house is the perfect backdrop for a picture-esque nuptial.









6. Hatley Castle, Victoria, BC

Ever dreamed of a Royal wedding? You can actually have one in one of B.C.’s very own castles built in the early 1900’s. This beautiful castle’s impressive exterior is matched by lavish interiors featuring oak and rosewood paneled rooms, a baronial fireplace, teak floors, and custom made lighting fixtures. Located in Coal Harbour, right by the water, the patio features views of Stanley Park and the North Shore mountains. Located in Shaughnessy, this magnificent Edwardian mansion is currently being used as a Clubhouse for the University Women’s Club of Vancouver. Said to have hosted some of the city’s most legendary parties in the 20’s and 30’s this mansion is nothing short of breathtaking.

Not the most conventional of places to host a shoot, given the bustling crowds. But if you’ve ever taken a moment to just stop and admire Waterfront Station, it’s neoclassical design is actually quite lovely, as would serve as a fitting “urban” backdrop if you’re in a pinch. What used to be Vancouver’s former courthouse, this award-winning, neoclassical building features iconic columns, a central dome, ornate stonework and a formal portico. All of which make for great elements in a photoshoot.
